Probably the most beautiful bike at Zhu Hai at present, in the hands of the most loving owner imaginable. Nick takes pride in his bike and in his determination to become this seasons champion. Well Oiled! has been the appointed mechanic for the last two seasons, and Nick is rather choosy as to who lays hands on his pride and joy.
Last seasons guise, from the crate to the track in true gixer style. I believe Nick stayed on the bike at least 40 minutes before slinging it down the track, the first time he rode, he learned from a lot of other mistakes to achieve his current standing as No.2
Not leaving anything to chance he relies on Well Oiled! to give him confidence on the track after a number of mistakes from other bike service centres. Nick being the enthusiast that he is, knows every centimetre of this bike, down to the finest detail. The bracket pictured carries a sensor for a datalogging system to show speed, acceleration, deceleration. Also fitted are an accelerometer, and tachometer which after your ride can be viewed on a laptop to show ideal laps. Pretty cool piece of kit.
Ready to rip, this is one serious gixer. Yoshi triple clamps and tri-oval full system, Dyno-jet programmable engine management, Race Tech gold valved forks, Ohlins shock, Techtronic quick shifter and datalogger by Farrington instruments UK.

Odds and Sods by Well Oiled! a little TLC included.

Nick also offers a service for bike preparation at ZIC, 'Track Torque' located at the circuit, info available in the links...
